Scarf for Erin

Of course, as soon as my younger daughter asked me to make her a scarf, my older daughter wanted one too.

This is the yarn Erin picked for herself:
Knit Picks Swish Worsted 100% Superwash Merino Wool, Color Sunshine

The pattern I'm using is free on the Internet. It's so simple but makes such a lovely texture! I might have to make one of these for myself.
Mariner's Scarf Pattern by The Seamen's Church Institute.

Update 03/25/2010:
Erin's scarf is about half done. She is impressed with the pattern, and told me "Wow mom, you're a great knitter!" :) I still have lots to learn but I'm liking how this scarf is turning out, too!

Update 05/25/2010:
Yay, it's finally done! I had to take some time to focus on my quilting, but was able to get back to this project. Erin loves it, too bad it's going to be summer soon. Oh well, she can use it next winter, right? :)
