"Hugs for Alec"
| This quilt and pillow case was made for a special little boy. Around Thanksgiving 2008 Alec was diagnosed
with a malignant brain tumor. In the last 8 weeks, he's had to undergo 6 brain surgeries, has suffered
a stroke that left his right side paralyzed, and now must endure chemo and radiation treatments. My friend
asked me for a quilt for him, so I put this one together out of 1930's reproduction fabrics. I also made
him a fun flannel pillowcase to use while he's in the hospital.
